Multi-Homing technology is a part of the Cell IPPE generic platform. It is our proprietary IP WAN load-balancing technology for network resiliency and business protection. It combines unique hardware appliance with Cell CRiOS and Cell IPPE. It can support fast performance up to 2Gbps with up to 8 WAN links. It is designed by several unique modules – Dynamic WAN link load balancing, advanced firewall, intelligent NAT (iNAT), advanced routing, integrated DNS, TSAE for traffic control, link monitoring and automatic failover.

Multi-Homing technology is designed to connect multiple ISPs or different carrier network infrastructure without any changes of complex network configuration. It has the primary advantage of increasing network availability by protecting against WAN link failures or ISP outages. This technology and its product are designed for carrier network service with a Multi-WAN service gateway, as a plug-and-play network device which fully works with existing carrier network equipments, utilizes common network protocols, and requires no special service or configuration changes from ISPs.
